I teach you how to work with what you already have, while also providing you with some stand-out new materials to up-level your makeup game. While there is something to be said that the techniques and application are the most important, it does help to have good tools to get the job done.
Nice brushes mean an easy and seamless blend of cosmetic products, which means a more natural, but flawless look for you! I selected some really great items, and you know they're great when they're the same brushes I choose to use for myself everyday.
I cannot wait to help you grow in your understanding of beauty, makeup, and feeling good in your own skin! Please know that even after your lesson is over and gone, I'm always just a text away if new questions arise when you go home and start practicing.

My name is Tiffany and I am so excited to help you reach your makeup and skincare goals! Before I became a makeup artist, I studied, graduated, and worked as a teacher. I worked with English language learners and loved my students. I definitely had a knack for teaching, but knew I didn't love the "job" enough to live inside the classroom for the rest of my life.
Enter: hair and makeup artistry! My passion for art and creativity found its wings within this vocation. Finally work didn't feel like "work" for me! However, I understand and sympathize that makeup often does feel like "work" for many women in the world today.
So many terms and tiktok techniques out there, what's really worth taking your precious time to learn?! Well, I am here to sort it all out for you and give you my favorite tried and true tips and tricks. In your lesson, we discuss everything from an easy monochromatic look (think 5 minutes and done!) to something a little more thought out for those times you want an elevated look for special occasions.

Here, you can browse the tools, products and goodies you'll receive in your makeup lesson! Each one is a product I have used myself and/or on my clients. I would never give you something or recommend something that I don't fully believe in.
PS - I have a Keurig machine in my office with all kinds of drink choices: coffees, hot chocolates, or herbal teas. I will absolutely ask you if you'd like anything to sip on while we chat and practice makeup!

When applying makeup, it's so important to have brushes that are easy to use and seamlessly blend for a flawless finish. These brushes are IT.
Real Techniques brushes have been a long time favorite of mine; they both hold up well to cleaning and stay in top condition.
Since they have densely packed bristles, they give a flawless finish every time. I am so excited for you to try these brushes and if you already are using them I am so excited for you to have fresh, clean brushes to replace your old favorites!

While brushes are amazing, a facial sponge is your best friend when it comes to smoothing wrinkles and getting your makeup to lay nicely in every nook and cranny.
Sponges have come a long way and while this might not be my ride or die sponge, it is an economical power-horse that deserves a place on your vanity.
It has an excellent, very skin-like porosity that gives a radiant finish and can be used for multiple types of looks from sheer to full coverage. Not to mention your hands stay clean and you don't transfer any hand bacteria to your face by using the sponge!

Just like the face brushes I chose, these brushes are some of the softest brushes too and they blend eye makeup perfectly! I chose these brushes for the same reasons of quality, ease of use, and versatility.
When applying eye makeup, it's helpful to have a variety of brushes that give you the option of applying different eyeshadow looks. These can be used from a simple day-to-day style or for a little more detailed look on those special occasions. I will teach you how to use each one and for which use each brush is most well-suited.

While it's important to invest in good brushes, you can get away with more run of the mill makeup because you have good tools that will apply almost "anything" well.
That said, these little 3X3 palettes from Morphe are a great option and have an excellent range of complimentary shades to help you achieve a variety of makeup styles, perfect for the purposes of the makeup lesson!
For the price point, these palettes have excellent pigment and a little goes a long way! I also love the MAC 3X3 palettes, but I appreciate the price of these. Also, if you find you love them too, the palettes come in a nice variety of colors and shades which can make it fun if you decide to branch out in your makeup looks.

You can't go wrong with skincare samples! Who doesn't love trying a new product?! I provide up to 3 samples for you of skincare (or makeup if you choose) that you can take home and sample.
My recommendation is to focus on skincare sampling because there are some really great products out there just waiting to "save" your skin!
At the lesson we will discuss what you already use and explore if there are any gaps in your skincare routine or problem areas you need advice on. I have plenty of full-size products to "show and tell" and am thrilled when I can. help someone find a new product that meets the needs of their skin! My own skin has been on a journey from oily to dry, so I have lots of helpful "tried an true" recommendations.

At the bridal preview, I will ask you for information on your bridal party members. I'll ask for their first names, what service(s) they're receiving, and what their role is in your day (i.e. maid of honor, mother of bride, bridesmaid, etc.).
Next, I'll ask you if there are any scheduling preferences* like: Is there anyone who needs to go near the end?, Who should go first?, Anything else I should know about anyone? etc.
Please come prepared with this information so that we need to make as few tweaks as possible after I send you the final schedule to review.

Creating your day-of
For your bridal preview it is always best to wear white, if possible, as this will cater to you looking more "bridal". It also won't cast any strange hues, as it's a very neutral color and reflective of light.
I also recommend wearing a white shirt or dress that has a similar neckline and cut to your wedding dress (i.e sweetheart, v neck, square, etc.). Again, this aids in your ability to visualize your hair and/or makeup look with a clothing style similar to your wedding dress.
Finally, make sure you wear your wedding earrings or if you haven't yet chosen them, a neutral stud earring (like pearls or gold knots) is a perfect choice. A neutral earring helps you look polished and elegant.

What Should You
I completely understand the desire to want to bring a guest along. We all crave affirmation or confirmation of the choices we are making and sometimes it is simply nice to have another outside opinion.
That said, after over 8 years in the wedding industry, specializing in bridal beauty (and thus, 8 years of bridal previews), I enforce a "no guests policy".
I realize this may not feel ideal to everyone, but this is my current policy and it is what works best for me and the way that I work.
Truthfully, I believe this is also in your best interest. Sometimes it can be difficult to discern what we truly want when others are present and voluntarily sharing their opinions on our choices. I believe in you and am here to help you find your best bridal look.
With extensive experience in bridal beauty, I promise to advise you to the best of my ability. I also promise to capture and share plenty of photos with you to share the look(s) with your bride tribe and those closest to you!

A note on the
If you’re anything like me, you probably don’t get dressed up all that often. Which means that the day of your bridal beauty preview is the perfect occasion for a date night (or brunch if your session is in the morning!). Can't swing a date night? Then get a couple bridesmaids together for a fun girls' night, showing off your look and getting their input and feedback.
The bridal preview is a great opportunity to plan something else exciting in your life, after all your hair and/or makeup will be professionally done!

Sometimes after a bridal preview you might feel like a different look would be better for you or more well suited to your tastes and dress style. That is 100% okay! About 1/4 of my bridal clients change their mind after the preview or on the wedding day itself and it is no problem at all.
